About the Role
You will be responsible for the coordination and service provision of our endoscopy waitlist service for patients that that are cared for by the Gastroenterology unit. The role will coordinate and support the endoscopy waitlist team, working closely with the current nurse and admin groups to ensure that all endoscopy patients have timely access to care. Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the endoscopy waitlist service will be a key responsibility.

The classification for this position will be ZJ4 ($107,120 per annum).


  • Oversee the coordination of the endoscopy wait list team
  • Central point of contact for medical leave notification and backfill of sessions
  • Ensure each endoscopy session is booked to full utilisation and support the continuous improvement of this
  • Support and develop strategies to have bookings completed 4 weeks in advance for both interventional and gas/colon lists

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Nursing, which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia through AHPRA
  • Experience within elective surgery and endoscopy waitlist management (desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven problem solving ability
