We are going through an exciting time of growth in our industry which is providing many opportunities for people to work within the new NDIS business environment supporting people with a disability. This is a highly rewarding industry and it’s a great time to join CPL!

Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Rostering and Resourcing, your role will be to lead the recruitment team to fulfil the resourcing needs of our community and home support divisions across Queensland and northern NSW.

This is an internal recruitment leadership role, part of the People, Learning and Culture team and supports the achievement of CPL’s strategic goals. You’ll be working in partnership with internal stakeholders, leveraging your excellent customer service and organising skills to deliver critical new staff in a highly competitive and compliance led candidate market.

The role would suit you if you enjoy leading by example, are a capable communicator (groups and one-on-one) and measure your performance by the achievements of your team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach and mentor the volume recruitment team to deliver highest quality performance outcomes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop strong and highly effective relationships.
  • Ensure compliance and efficiency throughout the recruitment process.
  • Liaise and work effectively with other CPL departments.
  • Model CPL’s values and the CPL Way of Understand the person; Give great service; Work together and Find better ways at all times in your work and interactions.

Selection criteria includes:

  • Proven success leading an internal recruitment team for a large organisation
  • Knowledge of, and commitment to best practise recruitment in high volume environments.
  • Experience in design and facilitation of group assessment centres.
  • Demonstrated highly effective communication and interpersonal skills for a diverse audience.
  • Proven commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of cloud based recruitment systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills.
  • Tertiary education in HR/ business.
  • Blue card and Yellow Card or NDIS worker clearance will be required.
