About The Role

The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with the Supplier Relationship Manager to collate, analyse and maintain data associated with crop protection supply chain functions including demand planning and purchase scheduling. Critical to the role is establishing strong relationships with state Rural Products teams as well communicating with internal and external suppliers. The role will provide support to the Supplier Relationship Manager, producing reporting and forecasts for suppliers as well as other supply chain focused tasks.


As an Supply Chain Specialist Rural Products
  • Maintain forward purchase orders with suppliers ensuring allocations of product are aligned with forecasts
  • Generate forecast purchase plans on request for internal and external suppliers
  • Organise and run monthly review meetings with State teams, some interstate travel may be required
  • Provide up to date product information to the network to support the crop protection strategy.
  • Prepare reporting on request for Supplier Relationship Manager
  • Identify subcategory risks particularly associated with inventory management
  • Pricing Administration


To succeed at Elders, you
  • Previous experience in an analysts or supply chain role
  • Understand supply chain principals for manufacturing and retail businesses
  • Understand retail and network distribution, inventory management and KPIs
  • Possess practical skills in the MS Office suite and advanced computer literacy
  • Have tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business Management or similar (desirable but not essential)
