Eckersley's is one of the largest fine art, craft and design supplies retailers in Australia and maintain a strong involvement in the arts and education sectors. We are active sponsors in the education community and supply art and design materials directly to schools.
The Eckersley's group is seeking a Full-time Sales Representative for our QLD Division.

Role & Objective
To sell products, goods and services to education, trade and corporate customers
To work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process
Find new sales leads and convert them into customers
Manage current customer relationship and look to increase sales from these customers

Budget Management
Operate within given budgets/ targets and to maintain or exceed budget/ targets

Duties and Responsibilities
To abide by all company policies and procedures relative to Eckersley's sites, including WH&S Risk Management and Injury Management
Meet sales goals and objectives assigned by the Operations Manager through interaction and building relationships with existing and potential customers
Monitor, maintain and identify opportunities for increased sales from established customer accounts including resolving issues in a timely manner
Identify potential customers and their needs to expand customer sales base by bringing in new customers
To promote the Group's and Preferred Supplier products as a priority when interacting with customers
Preparing a variety of sales reports that include field activity, customer contact and potential targets
Communicating new service and product opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during field activity to relative company staff
Communicating with the Distribution Manager and Customer Service staff to ensure issues are resolved and daily targets are met
Maintaining (and developing where required) existing product knowledge, sales materials and resources
Preparing proposals, presentations
Participating in marketing events like trade shows and seminars during and out of regular business hours
Preparing and delivering workshops with the aim of an increase in sales or bringing in new customers
Assisting in the execution of marketing activities including promotional flyers, Electronic Direct Mail (edm) and Catalogues
Assisting in the developing and proofing of relevant Catalogues including proposing ideas and new products
Ensure that you maintain a strong relationship with all key stakeholders including internal (stores, management, warehouse) and external stakeholders (Customers)
Attend any training sessions as requested
Have the ability to work proactively under pressure and deliver on deadlines
Be punctual, and allow for flexible workday times in order to meet deadlines when necessary
Travel regionally
