About the Role:
Our client is a government organisation seeking a highly experienced Training & Customer Engagement Specialist to join a large and exciting program of work. This role would best suit a candidate with very strong experience in delivering a complex and large-scale training exercise with a wide variety of stakeholders with confidence in engagement and communication activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a complex and large-scale national training exercise.
  • Develop or assist to develop detailed product support and training material suitable for call centre environments and external customers.
  • Review existing product support material and restructure/republish in the client's Help Centre.
  • Work with operational business areas to plan and manage their review of business content including policies and work instructions published in the client's Help Centre.
  • Planning and production of webinars to promote and communicate key messages.
  • Facilitate the development of a product release training program (including training needs analysis).

Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in digital product communications, training and support with a minimum 5 years’ experience in training and transitioning a complex body of work with a large-scale and varied group of stakeholders.
  • Strong experience with delivery method/s including various forms of training (in-person/onsite classroom training, online and e-learning training material development etc.
  • Knowledge and experience working within a software development group understanding complex workflows and varied systems.
  • Transition/Change management experience across people, process and systems change programs.
  • High level experience and knowledge operating in a digital communications and training support environment.
  • Strong proficiency using video capture tools for web application software demonstration and training content.
  • High level understanding of change management and transition processes, understanding macro and micro-environmental factors. Able to lead training activities and execute plans while positively influencing others.
Highly Regarded:
  • Previous knowledge or experience in the below tools (or similar) within a commercialised industry will be highly regarded:
    • Vision6, Mail Chimp, Survey Monkey, EventBrite
    • Customer Relationship Management tools
    • Content Management Systems, Canva, Captivate, GIF creators, Atlassian/Jira or DevOps.
  • Experience launching a new commercial product on a national/global scale would be high regarded.
  • Understanding of Geospatial Information Services (GIS).
  • Knowledge and experience of the heavy vehicle transport sector
