9 month fixed term contract - working with a fun and dedicated team - CBD location working on a large ICT systems upgrade project

About the Position

Anglicare Southern Queensland’s (ASQ) are looking for a Senior Project Officer to support the Project Manager and team in the successful delivery of our Procura Project. Procura is our core system which dictates how and when services will be provided to its clients and, as a result, directly impacts both client and staff satisfaction.

In this role you will:

  • assist with the identification and monitoring of all project tasks, risks and issues.
  • support the delivery of the remaining stages including, initiation, delivery and closure in accordance with the Anglicare Project Management Framework and reporting requirements
  • co-ordinate working groups, engage with stakeholders, and other project related tasks as appropriate

This role will be offered as full time on a fixed term contract for a period of 9 months.

Whilst based in Brisbane’s CBD, there might be travel required within our service regions, therefore a current drivers licence and reliable vehicle will be required.

About You
To be successful in the role:

  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative, coordination and project support to complex ICT projects from initiation to closure.
  • Awareness of the processes related to ICT system support, training, testing and deployments.
  • Practical experience supporting the delivery of projects using project management methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to relate effectively to a range of stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective facilitation and negotiation in order to engage stakeholders and ensure project objectives are met
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluating all aspects of the project, including risk and issue management, benefits management, project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes.
  • Experience drafting project documents and presentations, maintaining project records and document management.
  • Highly organised and motivated with the ability to prioritise a workload, meet deadlines and drive project schedules.
  • Advanced level use of Microsoft Suite and Project Management tools.
  • Current National Police Certificate or ability to obtain one
