About the opportunity

Joining the organisation in the newly created role of HR Business Partner, you will support the nationally dispersed workforce of 130 and act as the key operational subject matter expert, whilst also working closely with the leadership team to shape and influence people strategy.

Reporting into the leadership team, you will lead on all HR Business Partnering activities overseeing and executing cyclical HR activities, as well as taking on a range of projects to ensure the ongoing engagement and performance of leaders and the team. You will act as a trusted advisor to all levels of manager, and engage across the business with employees. You will work within current HR frameworks and systems but be enabled to create efficiencies and drive innovation or shift practices where required.

This is a generalist role that will see you involved in all aspects of HR as well as being bought into critical business conversations and valued for your advice.

Who are we looking for?

You may be an experienced HR leader who is ready to step into a smaller business and take on a standalone role (noting the remuneration outlined above), or be a generalist HR practitioner who is ready to work as a standalone specialist in a business and really make an impact. Ideally degree qualified (or with comparable relevant experience), you will have a strong background in the practical application of HR within a small or medium sized business (or portfolio group), within an operational or mixed blue and white collar organisation.

You will demonstrate a high level of initiative, build rapport and trust at all levels of the organisation and approach your role with a high degree of warmth and energy.
