The Position:

NorQuip Group is currently looking for a highly reliable, motivated, and professional team player with a strong customer focus for the position of Administration Officer for our fast-paced Townsville office. The position is available for immediate start.

The Position is permanent full time.

Duties include:

  • Manage customer email/telephone enquiries
  • Manage hire administration, documentation and records
  • Answering and making calls
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, staff members
  • CRM Entry and management
  • Record and monitor referral sources
  • Preparing reports, proposals and tender documents
  • Contribute to the review and updating of policies, procedures and manuals
  • Managing procedures, checklists and systems
  • Quote data entry and preparation
  • Accounts data entry
  • Scheduling appointments

The successful Administration Officer candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Excellent administrative skills from experience of at least 2 years in a similar role
  • Ability to understand and interpret company procedures
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Ability to effectively time manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Professional attitude and presentation
  • Friendly and professional phone manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Impeccable work ethic
  • Awareness of responsibilities under the OH&S Act and Regulations
  • Experience in the equipment hire industry will be highly regarded though not an essential requirement.
