CÜRA is a branch of Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast (MCCGC)

We help senior community members with in-home support, health & wellbeing services and social activities. We're committed to ensuring people from multicultural backgrounds have equal access to services that help them stay independent, active and connected in their communities. CÜRA provides 24 hours on call services 7 days a week, private home support and clinical services. Our goal is support you to remain in your home by building an individual care package based on your needs and preferences. The Care Advisor provides and coordinates a holistic service and case management that promotes a flexible, strength-based approach to customers. In addition, coordinate a service teams and programs effectively in accordance with WH&S guidelines, Aged Care Standards, Government service agreements, and brokerage and private pay contracts. comprehensive range of Customer Directed Services responsive to the chosen lifestyles and cultural backgrounds of customers


  • You’ll be responsible for the management of customers and provide supervision to Home Care Workers.
  • You must have the ability to demonstrate Coordination and understand the guiding principles of Customer Directed Care is essential to the role.
  • Provide packaged and other customers with appropriate information relating to their needs
  • Undertake client intake and assessments, including planning, monitoring and regular clinical client reviews
  • Implement best practice quality models of assessment, clinical care plan development, implementation and evaluation
  • Assist clients to maximise their package spend and understand the choices available to them
  • Practice within applicable legislation while recognising and respecting client choice and rights
  • Actively promote CURA Community Service, Mission, Vision and Values to customers in the community.

About YOU:

  • Tertiary Degree qualification in Nursing, Allied Health, Social Work or associated discipline and relevant experience.
  • Ability to maintain professional standards whilst building relationships to support people to live independent and fulfilling lives.
  • Current registration with relevant body (if required)
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position
  • Must hold a current Driver’s License
  • Hold a current National Police Certificate or has the ability to obtain one
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including strong presentation, negotiation and liaison skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate a team
  • Ability to develop and manage individual budgets with customers and their stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (listening, written and verbal), meeting facilitation and liaison skills.
  • Deliver services with a strong person centred, customer focussed approach.
  • Demonstrated high level computer literacy for the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, databases, Internet and email.
