Our client is hiring again and are looking for a passionate Marketing Coordinator to join forces with their highly-skilled Digital Marketing Manager to deliver amazing results for their business and customers!

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Brisbane.

Truly, no two days are the same and this multi-faceted role will have you working across all channels of marketing (both traditional and digital). In summary, it involves management and coordination of marketing campaigns and projects within the marketing department including digital and email campaigns, brand strategy and development, and a range of specialty and administrative activities. Other marketing activities such as PR, market research, analysis and working with other departments is also required.

The Role:
This is a multi-faceted role where no two-days are the same. You will have the opportunity to work across all the different areas of marketing including content, social media, campaigns, PR, traditional marketing and more. Here’s a sneak peek at what your days will include:
Content & Social Media
  • Source, write, and produce engaging content for a range of digital and print publication
  • Ensure content is signed off internally and by customers where relevant
  • Create and execute engaging content for all social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok
  • Manage and monitor social media channels to quickly and effectively respond to customer enquiries, comments and messages
  • Interact and engage with relevant online communities, representing the brand and building goodwill among current and potential customers
  • Maintain, refresh, and update the website regularly to ensure product ranges, offers and key communications are always up-to-date for customers
  • Assist in the coordination of product photography and videography planning, shooting, editing and digital asset storage
  • Work cooperatively and in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure the requirements of all marketing projects are completed and executed in a timely manner
Campaign Coordination
  • Assist in the development and execution of email campaigns for existing customers and subscribers as per the Marketing Calendar
  • Liaise with external suppliers (agency, mail house, printers) on all tasks related to marketing campaigns such as management and production of briefs, timelines, creative or merchandise
  • Development of internal briefs such as data brief, campaign insights and scripting for outbound team for all relevant campaigns
  • Communicate campaign plans to key stakeholders
  • Conduct post implementation review of all marketing campaigns and track all results
Public Relations & Traditional Marketing
  • Coordinate the execution of PR and Traditional Marketing campaigns as per the Marketing Calendar and direction from the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Coordinate press release planning, writing and where necessary liaise with external suppliers (media/PR agency and copy writers) in the development of PR material
  • Work with the internal or external creative stakeholder in the creation of advertising for magazine/newspaper/radio/TV/outdoor
  • Assist with booking and negotiation of media buying.
Marketing Administration
  • Assist the management of the marketing budget for all related marketing activity – approval of quotes, processing invoices, tracking and reconciliation of finance reports in the marketing budget
  • Ensure all marketing production processes are documented in SOPs, reviewed regularly & adhered to
  • Prepare purchase orders for media and production purchases
  • Execute additional day-to-day activities and administrative tasks as directed by the Digital Marketing Manager or Executive Leadership.
  • Assistance in the management of the customer database in the Shopify platform.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising (or similar)
  • 2 years’ experience in a marketing role, with exposure to social media platforms and campaign development and/or data-driven marketing practices
  • Good understanding of digital and direct marketing, data-driven marketing strategies and development and execution of marketing campaigns
  • High level conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to identify appropriate solutions that meet business needs and objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, including internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Ability to utilise time management skills to complete tasks correctly and on time
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and in a high-performance team
  • The ability to bring creativity and innovative strategies to all projects
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and participate in any key tasks required to provide a first-class customer experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities, meet deadlines and manage activities through to completion
  • Proven ability in undertaking initiatives that focus on continuous quality and process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and utilise a range of marketing systems and processes
Brownie Points:
  • Experience with platforms such as Shopify/Magento, Dot Digital, Nosto, Facebook Business Manager and the Google Advertising Suite
  • Demonstrated ability in using the Microsoft products office-suite and experience in using an ERP system; Microsoft Navision
Salary: Approx. $65k – $70k + super (commensurate with experience)
