Rare job opportunity for experienced Senior Administrator - Inner West Location - Immediate Start Required


Your new company
This public sector organisation is located in an Inner South-West suburb of Brisbane, have recently undergone a period of growth. A knowledgeable and experienced Senior Administrator is required to assist the team with end to end administration support. This is a full-time contract position for an immediate start.

Your new role
Your new position will be situated in a small team where you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating key administration work between the Managers and Team Leaders across the 6 teams
  • Providing support on administration activities to ensure consistency of process, accuracy and data integrity
  • Planning and attending meetings, including toolbox talks and weekly/monthly team meetings.
  • Undertaking records management and retrieval in Ellipse, Qdox, purchase orders, supplier information etc
  • Raising purchase orders and requisitions
  • Undertaking financial analysis ie: credit cards.
  • Undertake administration duties in a timely and proactive manner, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and priority management.
  • Interpreting, creating and managing complex administration reports

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a confident individual who strives for continual improvement in their career. You will possess strong technological skills, along with the ability to work under pressure whilst remaining organised. Superior communication and interpersonal skills will ensure that you thrive in the position. You will have recent experience in a similar role and be able to function in a high-volume position. Ideally, you have experience working in a utility, construction or trade-based organisation. You will be available to work 7am to 3pm and be able to commit to a temporary assignment.
