Due to a strong pipeline of work in the Northern region, we are currently seeking a Principal – Roads & Highways Engineer to join our thriving office in Brisbane. Reporting to the Section Leader – Roads & Highways, the purpose of this role is to provide engineering capability to our project team including managing Jacobs risk on proposals and projects. This position also provides technical expertise across multiple detailed design projects.

Here’s What You’ll Need

You should be an experienced qualified and registered Engineer in the roads sector, with experience in leading teams and providing technical leadership across roads projects. You should be well versed in managing and maintaining existing client relationships whilst fostering new relationships and market opportunities.

Key requirements for the role

Relevant Tertiary Qualification (minimum bachelor level qualification in Engineering)
Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ)
Vast amount of experience in the Roads/Highways Sector
Current knowledge of local engineering methods, applicable codes and specifications associated with road and highway engineering infrastructure projects
Experience in management of multidisciplinary projects
Liaison with clients including delivery partners
Knowledge of planning and design processes for road projects
