Our client is on the lookout for a data-driven PPC/SEM guru with an agency background to join their dynamic team as a Mid-Level Paid Search Specialist.

This is a perfect role for someone who’s keen to have autonomy to explore new ideas and understands (and thrives) in fast-moving scale-up environments.
This is a full-time position located at our client’s Gold Coast office., reporting to the Head of eCommerce.

As a Paid Search specialist, you will be responsible for focusing on all channels that aren’t Facebook and Instagram. That’s right. You’ll be responsible for activating, running and reporting on all of our client’s campaigns across Google, YouTube and Amazon.

You’ll be tasked with identifying SEM opportunities for these channels, creating a range of strategic paid campaigns and optimising these channels for maximum ROI. Our ideal candidate will be keen to take on any challenge and will not shy away from accountability. You must have a great technical understanding to pick up new tools quickly. The Role:

  • Work closely with the social paid team to develop an executive SEM strategy across Google, YouTube and Amazon
  • End-to-end campaign management across all campaigns
  • Monitor and analyse campaigns, ensuring consistent ROI
  • Review search opportunities, competitor activity and keyword analysis
  • Use Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics and other performance data to create insightful reports and adjust strategy as required
  • Ongoing optimisation of activity including but not limited to budget/ bid management, ad copy and tracking set up
  • Ensure tactics and messaging across the sales funnel that align with business goals
  • Be actively involved in discussions to plan campaigns and compare results
  • Keep ahead of new Search initiatives and product updates


  • Tertiary qualification (or similar) in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications etc.
  • At least 3+ experience in a paid search role or equivalent
  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience working across channels less frequently used – YouTube, Google and Amazon
  • 1+ years’ agency experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Tag Manager etc.
  • Ability to understand and present analytic data – must live for analytics
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals
  • Demonstrate confidence in problem-solving and experimenting with ideas to deliver the best results
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Search and Display experience is desired

Salary: $70k – $90k (commensurate with experience)
