An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated educator to join the leadership team. In this role you will deliver the vision of the department by improving the educational outcomes of students in their school and develop the quality of teaching and learning. You will achieve this by nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.

About Woorabinda State School

Woorabinda State School is the best school in Queensland. Located in the town of Woorabinda in Central Queensland, it is situated 170 km south west of Rockhampton on the traditional lands of the Wadja Wadja / Wadjigal and Ghungalu Aboriginal people and is the only primary school in the community. Woorabinda State School is a Kindergarten (with approximately 25 enrolments) to Year Six school, providing support to beginning teachers and relational leaders working with the Indigenous community. The school's motto is 'Proud and Deadly' and we are deadly by being - kind, strong, respectful.

Your Role

As the Principal, you will have responsibility for the following:

A mandatory requirement of this role is:
Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. For more information please CLICK HERE.
