At Scout Talent Group, we’re excited for a Marketing Officer & Content Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role based at our Global Head Office in Milton, Brisbane. You’ll receive mentorship, be supported and report directly to our Marketing Leader and will work closely with our Executive team including our CEO, CRO, and Managing Director.

Our Marketing Officer & Content Specialist will be responsible for increasing brand awareness for our suite of talent acquisition software and services, and producing valuable content, from articles and guides, to email newsletters, website copy and campaigns.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
producing a variety of written content, including email campaigns, infosheets, brochures, website copy, email campaigns and more
playing a key support role in producing other forms of content, such as short videos for social media and webinars
interviewing key internal and external stakeholders to produce great content
collaborating with the marketing team, sales and leadership teams to map out our content plans and strategy
optimising our content calendar and being proactive in suggesting new content initiatives
continuing the harmonisation / consolidation of our brands as we head towards our goal of IPO (Initial Public Offering).

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
strong communication and excellent storytelling skills
demonstrated copywriting experience
ability to work independently as well as part of a team
genuine passion for marketing, knowledge and understanding of the relationship between sales and marketing
strong organisational skills
high computer literacy
confidence and demonstrated experience liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and leaders
positive, proactive approach to work, energy and enthusiasm
learning mindset and interest in professional development
Bachelor's degree in writing, marketing, or related field (desirable, not essential)
marketing/content creation experience across brands (desirable)
digital marketing and B2B experience (desirable).
