What we are looking for

As our Employee Relations Administrator your main responsibility will involve being the first point of contact for employee relations queries/matters. You will support the team in providing customer service to all employees and effectively triaging the case work. You will be responsible for documentation and correspondence for matters such as terminations, warnings, non-work-related injuries and workplace investigations

Key responsibilities in the role are but not limited to:
Provide efficient and accurate administration support for all employee information management, including separations, employee movements, leave and global mobility activities assigned to the people services team
Provide advice and support to leaders and team members on low level ER matters relating to Industrial Instruments, Policies & Procedures. Escalates and triages medium and high-risk matters to the ER Advisors and/or ER Team Lead.
Resolve queries as required
Identify and recommend continuous business process improvement of processes, policies and procedures
Provide high-level administrative assistance specific to the skill of a human resource function
Manage all ER queries and enquires, providing advice and support on low level matters and interpretation of industrial instruments, policies and procedures. Triage and escalate case work to ER Advisors and/or ER Team Lead to be managed end-to-end.
Support the Employment Relations team with correspondence relating to notice of meetings, warnings termination letters, non-work-related injuries & workplace investigations
Organise and distribute required material: letters, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, and action items, in preparation for meetings, as required
Preparation and presentation of monthly reports on volumes, trends etc.
Coordinate and facilitate meetings, activities, travel for the team
Complete and submit expense reports, process invoices and track purchasing requests for the for day-to-day items
Promptly check and code invoices for signature and payment. Assist with other accounting matters as required ensuring compliance and achieving appropriate standards in regulatory, internal and external audits
Assist others in the Employee Relations department as required
Ensure compliance with The Star Entertainment Group Code of Conduct, all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements

BE YOUR BEST SELF

To be successful in this role you will have:
Undergraduate degree in HR, Business or a related discipline
Entry level HR experience in a mid to large sized organisation
Experience in participating in and contributing to a range of administrative functions
Experience working with teams across multiple businesses and locations
Experience working in service industries and fast paced dynamic workplaces
Comprehensive skills/knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
