Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN)

The University of Queensland's Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) is a dynamic multi-disciplinary research institute dedicated to developing technology to alleviate societal problems in the areas of health, energy, manufacturing and environmental sustainability. About This Opportunity

As Administration Officer, you will provide administrative support to the UQ Node Leader and Chief Operating Officer of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology. You will maintain effective relationships with stakeholders within the Centre and liaise with other professional support services across the Institute and UQ

Our Ideal Candidate

You will have completed a relevant degree and/or substantial administrative experience at a university or comparable organisation with strong client service orientation. In addition, demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office packages and databases with proficiency in record management will see you excel in this role. Essential to the role will be your outstanding communication capabilities and knowledge of University administrative procedures and systems, in addition to your strong interpersonal skills and a tenacious ability to handle situations that require accuracy, attention to detail and strong time management.

What We Can Offer

This is a part-time (0.6FTE), fixed term position for up to two (2) years at HEW Level 5.

The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $70,796.58 - $78,852.96 per annum, plus super of up to 17%.
