Outlook Services provide intervention expertise in developmental and challenge focused small group work. The Adventure Intervention position delivers programs and training using Adventure Based Learning (ABL) methodologies, quality assurance and risk management focus.

2 x full time positions based in Cairns (1 x permanent / 1 x temporary 12 month contract with possible extension. Regular travelling to remote locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Adventure Based Learning (ABL) programs for young offenders or those at risk of offending
  • Design, develop, and evaluate ABL programs linked to case management objectives
  • Deliver training for staff who work with young offenders with a focus on program design, delivery and facilitation.
  • Manage risk in relation to staff and participants.
  • Undertake administrative tasks relevant to program and training delivery.
  • Qualifications in Human Services, Outdoor Recreation and experience working with at risk youth are highly desirable.
