Full Job Description
Join this high-profile Federal Government Agency in an exciting time as they kick off a digital transformation project. You will be assisting with business as usual tasks as well as taking on tasks for the new project where required.

The role:
Seeking an expert Digital Content Adviser who is highly skilled in writing user centered content for web channels. Reporting into the Director of Digital Publishing, you will join a highly engaged team who is dedicated to ensuring that the Agency's digital content is engaging and fit for purpose.

As a strong writer you will write engaging content for a variety of audiences and be able to translate technical language into plain English. Your exceptional stakeholder management skills will allow you to work closely with SMEs and provide advice on writing for digital channels.

Previous experience working in the Public Sector is preferred and will be considered first.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the development of content for new websites, working closely with key stakeholders and content owners from across the organisation whilst advocating for end users
Take briefs from SMEs and translate the information into engaging web content
Structure content for the website and help design content around user needs
Support the implementation of the digital strategy by developing content that is engaging, optimised and accessible to the intended target audience
Ensure content meets best practice digital publishing standards (including accessibility, branding)
Enhance the organisation's ability to produce digital content by working with key stakeholders to continuously drive improvement and optimisation

About you:
A strong writer with experience writing for web channels
Demonstrated experience providing expert advice to stakeholders on the use and evaluation of digital channels
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure
Able to manage multiple subject matter experts to ensure high-quality digital content is produced and published to tight timelines.

Education:
Relevant tertiary qualification in communications or similar
