Full Job Description
Seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join the Group Linen Services team in Maryborough West (Wide Bay Group Linen Service) on a permanent full-time basis to provide efficient and effective maintenance service duties, including corrective, preventative maintenance and minor new works for Group Linen Service clients.

Key responsibilities:
Liaise with management and staff to understand maintenance, breakdown corrective and preventative maintenance.
Inform management and staff of work place health and safety risks and requirements relating to maintenance works and equipment.
Provide trade services to complete breakdown, minor new work and repair work, providing the best solution.
Clean and tidy area once works have been completed and complete relevant work orders and submit for completion.
Provide planned preventative maintenance as per the work order schedules.
Provide rostered on call trade services for after hours breakdowns as required.
Respond to emergency breakdowns as appropriate.
Estimate materials and labour for any works as required.
An understanding of organisational policies, workplace procedures, including values and goals and the ability to adhere to.
Ability to communicate effectively individually or in group situations

What we are looking for:
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in installation, preventative and corrective maintenance repair of Mechanical Plant and equipment similar to that utilised in a Commercial Laundry Industry, including automated machinery.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate effectively individually or in a team.
Demonstrated experience working with PLC automated equipment.
Demonstrated experience utilising computerised maintenance systems.
Demonstrated experience working with Steam and Gas.
