Tell me more... To provide content expertise, leadership and advice to team leaders and staff on matters relating to quality, safety and risk management activities in the Torres and Cape Mental Health and ATOD Service.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated expertise, knowledge and understanding of systems and legislation as it relates to patient safety, risk management, complaints management, accreditation and quality systems within the context of a Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug Service.
Demonstrated content expertise MH&ATODS governance systems.
Proven ability to present accurate advice on complex issues related to patient safety, quality and risk management.
Proven ability to effectively work autonomously, and as a team member as well as the ability to use advanced verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to consult, negotiate, liaise, educate and work collaboratively with management, staff, key stakeholders, consumers and carers.
Demonstrated ability or the ability to rapidly acquire technical knowledge and skills in patient safety tools including but not limited to Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Human Error and Patient Safety (HEAPS).
