The Deal Structuring & Execution team provides a differentiated specialist service proposition for larger, more complex and sophisticated customers. The deals team use their industry and credit expertise to deliver a high quality, consistent customer experience. This team was recently established within the Deal Structuring & Execution team to support Bankers across the B&PB network with significant and complex new-to-bank lending transactions and transformational lending increases for existing customers.

As the Senior Associate in the team you are technically adept at running complex credit processes. You are passionate about growing relationships with customers and colleagues, whilst also balancing risk and delivering the right outcomes.

In this role, a typical day for me will include:

  • Preparing credit submissions, completing analysis, and assisting with deal structuring for larger and more complex transactions
  • Attending meetings with bankers and customers (either face-to face or virtual) when appropriate
  • Managing the credit process from initial engagement of the team to credit approval with the support of the Associate Director and Director
  • Providing coaching and feedback to junior members of the team

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have a strong banking background which will including experience gained in a Corporate Banking environment. You’ll be tertiary qualified in Finance, Business (or related discipline), possess strong skills in complex credit, cash flow lending, financial modelling, transaction structuring and documentation. Having exceptional inter-personal skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment and connect with clients and key internal stakeholders will make you a success in this role.
