Responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to our Head of Category, you will conduct strategic category and channel analysis, incorporating appropriate data sources to build strategies that drive superior results
  • Perform strategic competitive analyses by category and brand to capture trends, opportunities and challenges for core business areas
  • Analyse and evaluate individual and groups of category demographic profiles and consumer purchasing behaviour, translate complex metrics and analytics into valuable strategic insights for consumer dynamics to support sustainable growth
  • Develop strategic business plans, vision, tactics and strategies for achieving category growth
  • Stay updated on consumer trends across key retail channels
  • Lead, coach and develop a Category Manager

Skills & Experience:

  • At least 8 years of FMCG or consumer products experience in category management, marketing, or sales and ideally you will have worked in two of these fields
  • Posessing an analytical mindset, you are able to zoom out from the detail to assess the bigger picture
  • Demonstrated experience developing & implementing Category Strategy and growth drivers
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with abilities to work on various initiatives
  • Highly effective interpersonal communication and influencing skills Strong negotiation
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment, and comfortable achieving through others
