Our client, an established organisation within the healthcare industry is seeking an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator.

The Division is responsible for developing and leading the investment lifecycle and benefits realisation framework that supports the National Digital Health Strategy, including integration with customer insights and behavioural change and evaluation.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity, based in Brisbane CBD


  • Manage and coordinate the consultation calendar including the scheduling of internal and external engagement activities and oversee all logistical aspects of engagement activities including workshops and webinars
  • Provide general project support including secretariat support for project governance meetings and the recording of outcomes from engagement activities
  • Support the update and development of content for the digital consultation hub
  • Prepare and coordinate reports, correspondence, briefing papers as required.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including evaluation reporting.
  • Establish and manage contract and service agreements and ensure compliance.
  • Reinforce key stakeholder engagement principles to ensure a cohesive approach to stakeholder engagement, e.g. the key account management model as outlined within the Agency Stakeholder Engagement Framework.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to understand the stakeholder environment and from this provide advice and insight into planning engagement activities.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills in building and sustaining relationships with a focus on leading as well as being a part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with thorough attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in an evolving and challenging environment, dealing with politically sensitive topics and issues.
  • Ability to use a Change Management and/or Stakeholder Analysis set of tools and techniques.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft tool set including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.


  • Experience in the Australian health sector.
  • Stakeholder engagement and communications experience in a diverse range of community settings.
  • Previous stakeholder management/project management experience.
  • Experience of working in and managing complex internal/external stakeholder environments across multiple concurrent projects.
