About the role:

Based at our Logan Head Office, the HR Specialist will be responsible for delivery of a full range of human resource services with a particular focus on Performance Management and Training activities. This is a true generalist position which supports all areas of the business, involved in the full employee lifecycle of activities.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Ensure all personnel matters are handled professionally and efficiently
• Supporting team, communicating regular updates with the staff
• Performance management and being involved with terminations
• Manage end to end recruitment including job design, drafting job descriptions and adverts, candidate reviews and interviews, offers of employment and onboarding;
• Creating new policies and procedures as well as enhancing existing systems, workplace health, safety and wellbeing programs,
• Provision and scheduling of Training and Development opportunities

To be successful for this role, you will:

• Possess a minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar or relevant role
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or similar related field preferred
• Prior experience in dealing with high volume Performance Management.
• Prior experience working in a fast paced environment
• HR System implementation experience is desirable
