The Deal Structuring & Execution team provides a differentiated specialised service proposition for larger, more complex and sophisticated customers. This team use their industry knowledge and credit expertise to deliver a high quality, consistent customer solutions with a consistent customer experience. The team supports a broad range of customers, across various diversified industries and interacts with the Broker and Financial network.

Reporting to the Associate Director, the Associate position is a key team member that provides credit analysis, deal execution and portfolio risk management functions and support to the NAB High Growth & Emerging Corporate team (HG&EC). You’ll be directly involved in all aspects of portfolio management and the client relationship. Further, you’ll have an opportunity to build on your existing credit/analytical skills and client relationship skills, and play a key role in driving superior client outcomes and delivering world class client relationships.

Day to day you will

  • Provide support to Senior Associate DS&E, Associate Director DS&E and Relationship Teams
  • Provide support across financial risk analysis with the preparation of detailed complex lending solutions
  • Completion of all formal new, increased and annual review submissions
  • Proactively manage risk; maintaining an ongoing awareness of NAB’s credit policy, credit and market risk and internal risk appetite, as part of completing credit submissions for new and/or increased lending for existing and new clients in the HG&EC segment.
  • Portfolio management including administration, credit submissions & annual reviews.
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop industry/sector expertise and knowledge.
  • Client engagement including responding to enquiries and providing assistance for administration tasks.

Monitor all facility documentation terms and conditions, including covenants and management of the legal documentation process for the client relationship teams
