The Energy and Water Ombudsman Queensland (EWOQ) has an exciting opportunity for a permanent part-time Information Management Officer, working 2 days per week. The Information Management Officer administers and provides support and maintenance of the offices Electronic Document Management System (EDRMS), utilising SharePoint, Records365 and Office365. The role also requires a working knowledge of the General Retention and Disposal Schedule and how it relates to the EWOQ Business Classification Scheme. The Information Management Officer is required to provide advice and services regarding information management, supporting technologies, and associated procedures and training, aligned with EWOQ's guidelines and policies.

The Information Management Officer will be responsible for;
The administration of the EWOQ Electronic Document Record Management System (EDRMS), utilising SharePoint, Records365 and Office 365.
Administer the EDRMS system in conjunction with EWOQ IT support to maintain and continually develop the EDRMS, ensuring records governance functionality, workflow, action tracking, backups and reports are up to date and compliant.
Assist with EDRMS security and access control activities in line with policies, procedures and EWOQ Risk Management requirements.
Maintain information management policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure they reflect best practice to support a compliant records governance framework.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance of records governance control tools, for example but not limited to, Business Classification Schemes and Retention and Disposal Schedules and other business rules to maintain system integrity.
Coordinate and undertake the maintenance, storage, archival records services including the appraisal, sentencing, disposal, storage and preservation of records (electronic and physical) in accordance with Retention and Disposal Schedules and Queensland legislative and regulatory requirements.
Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on information management.
Participate in projects and activities in line with EWOQ strategies and initiatives.
Maintain a focus on continuous improvement across information management systems and associated processes.
Provide a customer-focused response to queries and requests for assistance on information management related matters and support users of the EDRMS system.
Promote the use of digital records in particular high use and high value records.
