Edmen Community Staffing Solutions is excited to announce that we are currently looking for experienced Residential Youth Workers in the Rockhampton area to provide support to young people in residential care.

• Demonstrated experience in the space (or in the community services sector)
• Have knowledge of trauma and how it affects the development and behaviours of young people
• Hold (or currently studying) a minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work or relevant qualification
• Able to work a variety of morning, afternoon and active night shifts (including emergency/on call work/24hr)
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 (within the past 3 years)
• Hold a current CPR Certificate HLTAID001 (within 1 year)
• Hold a current Drivers Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• Hold a current Blue Card or willing to obtain

• Hope and Healing Certificate
• Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) trained
• Youth Mental Health First Aid
• An understanding of trauma and attachment theories and the resulting behaviours likely to be demonstrated by our young people
• Experience working with Indigenous and CALD clients
