Project Support Officer Aurizon Brisbane QLD Full-time, Contract Location: Fortitude Valley, Brisbane Remuneration: Attractive salary * Opportunity to make a difference in a Top 50 ASX listed company * Organisational culture that proudly supports inclusion and diversity * Modern, up-to-date working space in a safety focussed organisation We are seeking an experienced project support officer/EA or PA whom takes a hands-on approach and is ready to help implement significant transformative change between now and December 2021 (potential to extend). The Above Rail Asset Management (ARAM) Program is an high profile, executive sponsored change program successfully delivering and working to optimise the businesses asset maintenance practices through 5 key workstreams. Reporting to the Project Management Office (PMO) Lead, the Project Support Officer is a key member of the ARAM team. You will be expected to work alongside and support the Program Director, Project Managers, Change Managers and be a confident self-starter. The program is well advanced and you will have the opportunity to put your flair on the process. About the role: * Support the Project Director and Project Managers through effective, timely administration support, stakeholder engagement and communications * Liaise with management, internal and external service providers, and other stakeholders in the preparation of project reports and presentations relating to project performance e.g. monthly/fortnightly Regional status presentations and Steering Committee governance presentations * Update and maintain project registers and administration task sheets as well as reward and recognition awards and success bright spot communications * Participate in Daily, Fortnightly, Monthly program meetings, recording actions and maintaining program information board * Compose and proofread stakeholder communication * Develop training materials and presentations to support internal change management and communications * Support change and engagement strategy About You: * Experience in a project management environment is preferred * Strong administration experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is preferred * Highly organised, meticulous, and detail-orientated * Experienced in supporting the development of high level presentations suitable for the executive level * Experienced using and administering systems ie: Sharepoint, project management tools, Webex and Teams * Understanding of project management principles e.g. project lifecycles, financial management, and project controls techniques * A natural collaborator with strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills * Autonomous, process-driven, and disciplined * You may currently be working in a project support role or be an EA, PA or other high level administrative role and looking for a change What we can offer you: At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees to reach their full potential.
