Early Childhood Teacher

The Centre

The Candidates
You will be working amongst educators who are dedicated and passionate with what they do and will be responsible for all aspects of the kindergarten program. We are seeking for someone with the love of children as well as a passion to teach and encourage the children to learn. We are a highly multicultural centre and currently rebuilding phase of the journey. This means you must be an open minded individual wanting to expand their knowledge and learn, as well as being a team player who shows an initiative within the centre.

Early Childhood Teacher
We are currently looking for an ECT's who are looking to start their new jobs immediately.

To be considered for this position you will need the following:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Teacher Degree or ACECQA assessed equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the same position.
  • Current Positive Notice Blue Card for child related employment.
  • A sound understanding and knowledge of early childhood developmental principles including the early years learning framework (or approved framework) – pedagogy
  • Frist Aid Level 2 including CPR.
  • Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Certificate.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good programming skills with the ability to implement the school readiness program and mentor other staff when required.
  • A thorough understanding of the NQF and EYLF.
  • Administrative skills, including effective time and workload management is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
  • Good Leadership skills and a high level of self-motivation.
