OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY REGISTRAR | EAST COAST AUSTRALIA | 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Challis Recruitment is currently recruiting for our Queensland based client for an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar for a beautiful East Coast location.

The Position

Must be willing to work in a regional hospital

Provide clinical services to the clinical unit.

Attend clinics as required

Opportunity to develop specialist skills in a tertiary hospital

Care for Women in labour such as interpreting CTG’s, assessing progress of labour, management of obstetric emergencies such as post-partum haemorrhage, eclampsia, cord prolapse, cord prolapse, shoulder dystocia etc.

Participate in after hour’s shifts as rostered, this will include night shifts.

Provide relief as rostered to country hospitals in the Health Service

Provide legible, concise, accurate and signed clinical notes as per ACHS standards, associated with all patient contact

Supervise and support medical students/interns/JHOs/SHOs attached to the clinical unit, including participation in assessment process when requested

Participate in continuing medical education activities in the hospital under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Training. In addition to attendance at meetings/seminars
