About the Role

Working with a government owned entity focused on community recovery outcomes, this role will be accountable for the analysis and interrogation of community recovery data to provide ongoing reports on the recovery progress. This role will provide support through advice, analysis and the provision of relevant information and resources to develop community recovery programs. Your key duties in this role will include but not limited to:


  • Manage stakeholder relationships internally and externally who are responsible for the delivery of disaster recovery initiatives
  • Apply interrogation and analysis to recovery related data and provide routine reporting
  • Identify recovery needs, opportunities, gaps and risks, and provide appropriate advice and recommendations to key stakeholders for decision making purposes
  • Access and extract key information and resources to provide support towards the program
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • Minimum 3+ years relevant knowledge and experience in a similar role, preferably within the industries of small business, tourism, environment, agriculture and public sector
  • Minimum 3 years+ proven experience in analysis, reporting and evaluation activities within a similar role or a transferable role to a similar context 
  • Working experience on monitoring progress and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to cross-examine information, recognize gaps and derive solutions or alternatives
  • Broad experience in stakeholder liaison across all levels, with the capability to negotiate and understand key issues and desired outcomes
  • Proven experience in undertaking objective, systematic analysis and extract precise conclusions based on evidence
  • Previous experience in program assessment for emergency management and implement a monitoring evaluation and reporting program is advantageous.
  • Intermediate Excel skills with a good ability to interrogate information, identify gaps and source solutions
