About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Project Architect who can lead a diverse size of projects across a range of sectors including; Education, Commercial, Health and Science and Seniors Living.
We need architects with both strong design and deliver skills and are able to take a project from end to end, managing teams, project programs and deliverable and oversee clients and consultants relations. As we are a smaller team you will also need to be still hand on and, on the tools, to guide and lead other architects and graduates through projects, so you will need to have strong Revit and associated software skills.
Your people skills and teamwork approach are as important to us as your design and technical skills. We pride ourselves on truly understanding our clients’ desires and aspirations and delivering outcomes with our fellow consultants as a team.
Our Brisbane studio is in the creative heart of Brisbane just off James Street in Fortitude Valley. With close access to trains and buses as well as an onsite shower you can also ride, run or skate to work with ease.

General Duties:

  • Play an active role in the delivery and management of projects from all stages; concept design to contract administration
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of projects, updating Partners when necessary 
  • Ability to create and review drawings in Revit; including checking and marking up drawings and reviewing team members' drawings and documenting projects if needed
  • Leading and working in cohesive teams
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and other external stakeholders
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staff members
About you:

We are looking for an experienced Architect, who is able to apply their strong design, design development and construction knowledge into something that is inspiring but functional.

You will need to have proven experience in all project phases and coordinating consultants.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Strong design and technical acumen
  • 7+ years of Architectural Experience, ideally on medium to large scale projects (10+ up to 100 mill)
  • Demonstrated high level of expertise in Revit
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering designs from briefing to project handover
  • Demonstrated experience in working with Project Managers and Consultants as part of a larger design team
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively communicate with clients, consultants and internal team members
  • Experience and involvement in client relationship management
  • Strong level of technical/construction knowledge
  • Extensive in Commercial or Education sectors will be highly regarded
  • Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required
  • Rendering (Enscape, Lumion) and photoshop skills will also be highly regarded
