K and D Pickersgill Pty Ltd is seeking a Full-Time farm Diesel Mechanic/Fitter and general farm allrounder and to repair, service, maintain farm equipment including: CAT Dozers, Excavators, graders, Utilities, small farm motors etc.

We are offering $70,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation annually.

The successful applicant will be required apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills and knowledge in ensuring that the heavy motor vehicles and equipment are ready to be used for the company.

Specific tasks and responsibilities:

1. Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in earth moving equipment

2. Diagnosing any current issues as a result of the use of the equipment during the by testing parts of the equipment.

3. Dismantling and removing engine parts to check and ensure the machines are in good condition.

4. Repairing and replacing defective parts and reassembling mechanical components

5. Undertaking oil changes, lubrications, and engine repairs to ensure that the machines will run smoothly.

6. Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.

7. Assisting in general day to day tasks such as operating machinery

Required Skills and Experience:

1. At least 5 years of experience

2. Excellent communication skills

3. Drivers Licence

4. Agricultural Experience
