The Position

A temporary opportunity has become available for an administration professional to join a dynamic team in a temporary assignment during a busy period. Commencing soon, the position will work in a supportive and small team where you will apply your strong administration skills. This position is a part-time role requiring you to work 15-20 hours per week. This organisation is a financial advisory services business located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane with parking options available.

This role allows you to work in a fast-paced and thriving team while offering you a challenging yet rewarding temporary opportunity. As an administration support to the team and client base, you will be responsible for database management, document management, arrange client appointments, as well as ad hoc administration support for the financial planners and advisors.

Key Responsibilities

This is a temporary assignment, which requires a highly organised, self-sufficient and skilled administration professional. You will apply your hardworking, reliable and driven work ethic as a pivotal member of the business. 

Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

  • Arranging and coordinating meetings on behalf of the team;
  • Data entry and document preparation for the team;
  • Database and document management using the software XPLAN;
  • Ad hoc administration support for the wider team and business.

Skills & Experience

As the suitable candidate for this position, you will hold prior relevant and recent experience in administration, data entry or processing and be able to pick up and learn new processes with ease.

In addition, you will also have:

  • Experience in a fast-paced administration position, preferably within financial services;
  • Experience with XPLAN comes highly regarded;
  • Computer literacy in all Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Flexible work approach to meet the varying demands of an ever-changing and fast-moving environment;
  • Accurate data entry skills;
  • Ability to follow a process-driven environment.
