The Role
We currently have an excellent opportunity available for a Trainee Stores Person who will contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of the Stores & Transport Service to the Defence Contract. As part of your role you will be required to complete all activities in line with Traineeship requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver services in line with the logistics/stores function
• Storing and packing of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures and/or regulations
• Preparation and receipt of documentation including liaison with suppliers
• Quality Control
• Support teams where required with possible travel to other locations within reason, as required
• Complete all training requirements including certificate subjects, in house and external programs as directed by Supervisor/Team Leader

The Person

• Ability to undertake certificate level training
• Computer literate with basic skills in Excel, Word and Email
• Drivers licence applicable to vehicles on site
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build solid relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to learn computerised systems & programs relevant to the position
• A commitment to positive customer service

The successful candidates must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to a Baseline security clearance. As a result of this requirement the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen.
