POSITION
This position is a unique role within this business that only a few select members take care of, that is the Field Sales & Business Development activity. Your general responsibilities will include.
- Solution style selling to business, palletised, e-com, warehousing, corporate, commercial & industrial customers
- Dealing in predominantly interestate freight business interests (and access to all methods)
- Winning new accounts through access to better freight technology
- Client and relationship management of customers brought on
- Monthly pipeline development and forecasting
- Looking for opportunities to increase spend within accounts
- Up-selling & cross selling all transport solutions
- A hybrid mix spending days externally and some at the office
- Generous salary package on offer
- $80K - $95K package including car, plus super
- Laptop, phone, and all tools of trade
- Uncapped commission - a clear cut % of trade on accounts
- Fully service capabilities with carrier and routes in all states

To be suitable for this role, it is ideal that you are coming from the freight, logistics and transport space (interstate, local, courier). Your experience will be from a sales & relationship management background where you are responsible for client retention, new business development, gross margin, profitability, monthly pipeline & annual sales budgets.
- Experience from transport, freight & logistics
- Strong B2B and commercial sales skills
- Advantage if you have experience from freight brokerage
- A background in sales, business development & client retention
- Ready to take the next step in your professional career
