Function as a member of the surgical team providing high quality health care in the area of General Surgery services to the Caboolture Hospital and the Metro North Hospital and Health Service.

About The Role
- Manage the performance appraisal and development of subordinate staff.
- Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Initiate and be responsible for the clinical care of patients while in the Surgical Department.
- Arrange patient management in accordance with the best interests of the patient.
- Consult with other hospital staff as required with respect to patient management and related issues.
- Document relevant clinical information legibly, concisely and accurately.
