Managing a team of Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives plus a portfolio of business, we have a role that would suit an experienced broker looking to step up oran existing team leader. You will take responsibility for leading, coaching and developing your own book of business.

More Specifically, You Will Be Expected To

• Lead and engage team members, and assist with their development;
• Monitor team performance against budgets and other key performance indicators;
• Monitor the development of new business and service provided to existing clients;
• Maintain and develop meaningful business relationships with new and existing clients by taking a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery;
• Describe insurable risk, design appropriate insurance solutions and negotiate and manage the best deal in the global insurance market;
• Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with our underwriting partners;
• Promote the AJG brand within the local business community
  

A successful candidate for the role will be able to demonstrate:

• Previous leadership experience gained within the general insurance industry
• Solid and proven people and sales leadership experience
• An innate understanding and passion for sales and the sales process
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
• Acute commercial/business acumen skills and an intelligent approach to business
