Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead the delivery of comprehensive strategic and operational human resource and engagement solutions, ensuring alignment and delivery consistent with strategic and business plans.

Contract – Temporary Full Time for three years with the possibility of two year extension

Purpose of the Role

Lead a contemporary people and culture function that empowers managers at all levels of the organisation to receive practical advice, guidance and coaching in the management of performance, disciplinary, absenteeism and other employee related issues.

Develop and implement an organisational development plan that maximises employee engagement, safety and productivity, whilst builds on the organisations capacity to attract and retain skilled resources. Key succession plans will be included including the identification of critical and high value roles across the CHHHS. (N.B. This requirement does not cover the technical training of employees in a clinical context).

Build, provide direction and lead a team of human resources, organisational development, occupational health and safety and innovation professionals that provide outstanding advice and support to managers and employees across the HHS as evidenced by the achievement of high levels of client satisfaction.

Develop a positive culture within the portfolio which encourages and recognises high performance, builds leadership capabilities and supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing.

Strategically lead an effective and cohesive senior management team that provide the leadership and management required to effectively manage the day to day operations within a framework on quality and safety.

Successful implementation of a managers, senior manager and Executive Leadership program.

Further develop the innovation function to improve staff's ability to identify and implement innovative programs.
